In the early 2000s, two young tech enthusiasts, Mike and Steve, embarked on a journey that would shape the future of digital analytics. Fresh out of school, they found themselves working at a cutting-edge development company dedicated to the scientific analysis of web data. Back then, the digital landscape was still in its infancy, and the concept of tracking website traffic was a mystery to most.
As the years passed… the company they worked for evolved into a web agency, shifting its focus away from the detailed analytics that had once been their bread and butter. By this time, Google had taken the reins of the analytics world, making the detailed study of web logs nearly obsolete.
With a shared vision and a spark of inspiration, Mike and Steve decided to take matters into their own hands. “Let’s do it!” they said, and WebCarrots was born.
